Is the project still alive? Also, why is it necessary to turn this game into an action rpg?
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
I have worked on my project for many years, putting together stories of various characters and weave them together through a common narrative. Enter Project Wanderer, a Visual Novel project centering around the tale of an unlucky human and friends traveling together in the world of Eden, to discover friendship, hardship, and secrets. I want to thank you and every one of you for taking the time to visit my page as it means very much to me for your support. I can not do this project without your love and support.
Project Wanderer encompasses a wide range of adventure and its central theme is friendship. I do aim to include a wide variety of characters to interact within the story, of all genders and sexuality, as I want to promote a positive message about identity and discovering oneself in others through friendship and perhaps a relationship!
It also a tale of the three gods, or Magistrates, of Eden and how they end up manipulating the world to their benefits, and they chose select mortals to join into their game. However, fate has another plan in store and sent forth a human to Eden, hoping to be free of the gods' tyranny.
The world of Eden is divided into three continent:
- The Kingdom of Gondor
- Located to the Southwest and further divided by a river. The land is covered with lush forest, tropics, and rivers spanning a wide variety of climates. Primarily it is the home to the most variety of race and creed on Eden. Currently, Gongor is split into two kingdoms and is governed by the twin kings. Their patron Magistrate is Melchior, the god of life, prosperity.
- The Lunarian Empire
- Located across the bridge north of Gongor and is dominated by mountainous terrain and a harsh winter of the north. It is the home of a reclusive race of Lunarians and they form the heart of technological advances in Eden. Lunaria City, its capital, is the center of technology, trade, and government of all of Eden. Their patron Magistrate is Jasper, the god of time and space, knowledge.
- The People's Republic of Rus
- Located across the sea to the east, lies a desert climate and features a mixture of far eastern and industrial revolution climate. Its capital, Glasenstad, is the seat of military power, priding in amassing military technology and sharing its knowledge of warfare to others. Their patron Magistrate is Balthazar, the god of war, pride.
The story will be divided into chapters.
Prelude Chapter: The Fall
The story centers around a young man named to player's choosing, who is at the end of the ropes managing day-to-day lifestyle. A chance meeting of a stranger sends him on a magical journey to the world of Eden.
Chapter 1: Awake
The protagonist meets a old man named Bane and they travel through the Shar Forest en route to the Whal of Greenshire. Along the way, the party meets a knight with a case of split-personality, a robot thief that steals weapon, and many other characters.
The journey continues as the The Wanderers travel into the Forest of Lost Dreams. What perils will they find within? This chapter serves as a more RPG like experience as there is more battles and customization to the protagonist as the story evolves.

What's going on with the project? Is it still active?
Sorry if this is spam but itch.io has no way of sending PMs. :(
I'm from Soulsoft Electronic arts. ( https://soulsoftea.itch.io ) Sooo I'm thinking about hosting a Game Jam on itch.io. My idea is a bara game jam which I'll call "BARA JAM", and I'm trying to see how much interest there would be in such a jam, and if it would be worth hosting. Would this be something you'd be up to participate in or even co-host?
I'm thinking about having it in October and lasting 1 month.
I made a thread on LSF with more details here: https://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=51373
I'm really trying to see if this is a viable jam that people would even want. I hope so! I'll obviously be submitting an entry as well. =) you can email me here firstname.lastname@example.org
I'd like to join up for it.
Awesome! I'll keep you posted as to when the Jam goes officially up. I really enjoyed Wanderers (especially Bane)
Ooh! If you could jump onto the LSF and leave a msg in the main thread showing your interest, I'd really appreciate it. ^_^
